Elton John: The Movie

Posted on September 23, 2011

Reginald Kenneth Dwight (or old Elts to you and me) has confirmed that he’s working on an autobiographical musical fantasy by the name of ‘Rocketman’. The Guardian could barely contain their excitement, going all pink-fluffy-boa on us by suggesting a catalogue of thespians who could potentially play the British institution at different stages of his career, not unlike the Bob Dylan biopic ‘I’m Not There‘. Elton’s said to be working on the script with his film producer partner David Furnish and Billy Elliot mastermind Larry Hall, meaning their are about as many queens working on this than there were on Henry the Eighth.
