Two Faced Cat Sets Record

Posted on September 28, 2011

You can’t hug every cat, but maybe a hug with this guy could count as two? Gawker reports that this two faced (or ‘Janus’ cat, after the Roman God with two faces) has set a Guiness world record for the longest lifespan.

The critter has two mouths, two noses and three eyes, of two which are functioning. The non-functioning eye was the only working one for a while after Frankenlouise (yes, she has two names as well) was born.

“That was the first eye to open up when he was two days old so I had a little Cyclops for a while,” the owner says. Makes you go all warm and fuzzy.
