Carrot Stick Vending Machines Unpopular, No One Surprised

in New York have struggled to sell anything out of their new ‘healthy alternative’ themed vending machines, reports the New York Times.

Being situated right next to traditional vendors probably isn’t helping, but the selection of carrot sticks, yoghurt and hummus has failed to excite students craving a snack.

Perhaps they should take a leaf out of Japan’s book, where vending machines come stocked with lobsters, cars and lingerie.
