Sharks Found In Golf Course

Skewing one into the drink is now a whole lot more dangerous at Carbrook Golf Club in Brisbane, as golfers attempt to deal with an influx of sharks swimming in the course’s water traps.

The sharks ended up in the golf course after the nearby river broke it’s banks during severe flooding in January, and have since continued to breed and terrorize golfers on the 14th hole.

Although the lake is well stocked with fish, owner Mr Wagstaff sometimes throws in meat to encourage the sharks to come near the surface.

He said: “I’m sure they are aggressive when you are in the water but when you are out here feeding them they are beautiful to watch.”

Our swing is bad enough without having to worry about man eaters off the tee.
